Buy Our Oyster Shells!

Since 2016, PDE has collected oyster shells from local restaurants and used them in restoration projects all over the Delaware River Watershed.

We occasionally have loose and bagged shells available for purchase. Availability of shell varies and pick-up is required from our shell management facilities in Wilmington or Philadelphia.  All proceeds are used to sustain the Oyster Shell Recycling Program.

What’s available:

Shell bags: Each bag is approximately 14lbs. each, 18 inches long and 12 inches wide.

Bushels: We also have bushels of cured loose shells available.
