Jasmine Chandler

Delaware Community Coordinator

Jasmine Chandler is PDE’s Delaware Community Coordinator. In this role, she serves as the organizer and facilitator of PDE outreach and events within Delaware. Her current projects involve the construction and development of outdoor classrooms across the City of Wilmington, along with the expansion of PDE’s outreach activities to disadvantaged and underserved populations across the Delaware region. Before joining PDE, Jasmine was the Education Director for Conscious Connections Inc. Urban Farm, where she taught Farming & Environmental Education to local students in Northeast Wilmington. She also completed an internship with Delaware’s first resilience hub as an Environmental Justice Advocate and worked directly with community members to address the needs of the community in extreme heat resilience and disaster preparedness education. Jasmine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science from The University of Delaware and a Graduate Certificate in GIS Tech & Analysis. She is a Delaware native and currently lives in the New Castle area with her two children. Jasmine enjoys hiking, kayaking, and creative arts like crocheting, painting, and 3D sculptures.  Jasmine is also the Chair for the Board of Directors at Pacem In Terris, a Peace Advocacy Organization working through Hanover Presbyterian Church in Wilmington, Delaware.
