Jana Savini is the Coastal Collaborations Manager at PDE, where she supports the operation of the Delaware Resilient and Sustainable Communities League (RASCL) and facilitates several collaborative partnerships and projects throughout the estuary. She brings a diverse professional background to her role, having previously worked as a zookeeper at the Philadelphia Zoo, where she cared for a wide variety of mammals, birds, reptiles, and invertebrates. She also engaged with audiences of all ages as an entertainer for the Philadelphia Phillies.

Jana holds a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Delaware and is an active member of her community. She lives in Newark, Delaware, with her husband and contributes to the arts as a comedy producer, director, and instructor at City Theater Company in Wilmington. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and exploring the outdoors with family and friends.
