Jana Savini is PDE’s Coastal Collaboration Coordinator. In this role, Savini assists with the operation of the Delaware Resilient and Sustainable Communities League (RASCL), as well as several other collaborative partnerships and projects throughout the estuary. Before joining PDE, Savini was a zookeeper at the Philadelphia Zoo, where she was responsible for the well being of the many species of mammals, birds, herptiles, and invertebrates in her care. She also worked for the Philadelphia Phillies as an entertainer, engaging with baseball fans of all ages. Savini has a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Delaware. Savini lives in Newark, DE with her husband. She is a comedy producer, director, and instructor at City Theater Company, where she also serves as a board member. In her free time, Savini enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
