Leah Morgan is the Estuary Science Manager at the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary. Her responsibilities in this role largely include restoration project management, including oversight of PDE’s Oyster Shell Recycling Program and living shoreline project implementation, permitting, monitoring, and
Morgan graduated in 2019 with her Master’s degree in coastal sciences from the University of Southern Mississippi where she studied oyster larval recruitment limitation in the Gulf of Mexico. Morgan earned her Bachelor’s degree in marine science from the University of Delaware in 2016. Morgan is a Delaware native but currently lives in Philadelphia; she loves spending her summers on the beach in Ocean City, Maryland, although her favorite place in the Delaware Estuary is Cape Henlopen State Park. She enjoys reading, taking classes at [solidcore], keeping up with the Philadelphia Eagles and 76ers, and seeing Broadway musicals in her free time.
