Buy Our Oyster Shell!

Since 2016, the PDE shell recycling program has collected oyster shell from local restaurants and these shell are now ready for use in restoration projects in the Delaware Estuary Region!

Through our Oyster Shell Recycling program, PDE is now able to sell shell to the restoration community of the Delaware Bay! All proceeds are used to sustain the shell recycling program.

Shell bags (~18lbs each, 18″L X 12″W) and bushels of loose shell are  currently available.

Potential for delivery depends on quantity of shell purchased and distance, but shell can always be picked up at our Wilmington, DE shell management area.
