Kaitie Evers
Kaitie Evers is PDE’s Engagement Specialist. In this role, Kaitie assists with programs related to the Schuylkill Action Network and Delaware River Watershed Initiative, among other regional collaborative initiatives to further clean water and healthy ecosystems. Kaitie joined the staff in October of 2021. Prior to joining PDE, Kaitie was the the Assistant Superintendent at White Clay Creek State Park. She supported the daily operations of the 3600 acre park and worked closely with volunteers and the Friends of White Clay. Some of her favorite projects she worked on with volunteers, include forest restoration plantings and installation of a pollinator garden at the Judge Morris Estate. She was also the Summer Camp Director and Naturalist at White Clay for several years, leading environmental education for youth. Kaitie graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Plant Science from the University of Delaware in 2017. Kaitie enjoys going to yoga class, motorcycling along winding back roads, mountain biking and hiking new trails. She is also passionate about increasing native pollinator spaces and invasive plant removal in her local community of Newark, Delaware.
